PTFE MARINE 330
Color * Green or Black
Wires * Aisi 316 L Stainless Steel external and internal wires.

Construction
COMPOTEC® PTFE  MARINE  330, is  designed around  several   PTFE   films,   with   extra Polypropylene films and fabrics, plus  a  bigger and higher density wire, with a weather-proof and  abrasion  resistant Hypalon outer  cover. COMPOTEC® PTFE MARINE 330, includes in the construction  an  extruded  FEP  tubular  and Mylar® polyester films. All the different layers are wrapped together and tensioned between internal and external wires are assembled with
maximum  precision  and optimal tension. This enables our product to maintain extreme flexibility with tremendous strength and durability.

Characteristics:
*Specifically  designed  for  the  transfer  of  a  wide  variety  of hydrocarbon conveyants  under  suction  or pressure, PTFE MARINE 330 hoses are used for ship  to  shore  and  ship  to  ship,  dockside,  and  general  shipboard use. All hoses  are  100%  aromatic  resistant,  anti static and can be used for suction and discharge.

*COMPOTEC® hoses  are  fitted  with an  extensive range of couplings readily available externally swaged with Stainless Steel ferrules.

*All  the  "COMPOTEC®  MARINE"  hoses  complies  with  B.S. 5842:1980, IMO CODE PAR 2.12 & 5.7
Safety

*All  hoses  are  tested  at  11/2 times  rated working pressure for safety and reliability, in accordance with BS 5842;1980 clause  6.4.Full  test  certification can  be  supplied  on  request,  issued  in our laboratories, or  witnessed  form independent third part Institutes.

*Hoses are  designed, for  type  approval, to a burst pressure 5 time the W.P.
Burst  pressure  indicated,  is  at  ambient  temperature  when  tested  in accordance with BS 5173 section 102.10.1990.

*Electrical  continuity  is  achieved  by  the  two  wires   bonded  to  the end fittings, this helps dissipate accumulated charge  and  to  avoid  static  flash. The electric  resistance  of  hose assemblies is less than 10 ohms, as required by  BS  5842:1980  clause  6.2. Hose  assemblies  can  also  be  provided, on request, electrically discontinuous.

*It  is  possible,  on request,  to  offer a  range of  hoses with fire and  flame resistance CL 1, please contact COMPOTEC® Technical Department  for  further information.
